Does anybody know how interviews work for Penn regular admissions?

i think only legacies get one if not then maybe lucky or unlucky chance

not true; i was not a legacy and I got one for regular admissions.

mine was about an hour long. my guy was a wharton grad working at a VC firm. i wasn't even applying to wharton, yet he did ask me some econ/business questions. the only one i remember was "how does business and sports fit in together"

i said something about how the WSJ released a report that the Patriots (best team at the time) were the most economically efficient team and talked about that.

the rest were fit questions (why penn, etc)

JML: how did this interview get set up?

it was 3+ years ago, i honestly cannot remember...i'm pretty sure they (the school) sets it up for you. sorry!

icfireball: you have to request an alum interview as part of your application. Not everyone gets one. If you do get one, the alum will contact you directly to set up a time and place.

Mrs. Brosnan: how does a non-legacy go about requesting an alum interview?

ppp222: if you are submitting any supplemental materials by mail, you can request one in your cover letter. If not, just send a letter to Admissions requesting one. Or, call Admissions and ask them how they would like you to do it.
