Penn State University Park- Summer Session 2013?

<p>I was on the previous message boards, and I read that some people have asked to be reevaluated for the fall semester. However, it needs to be a legitimate reason (i.e. nothing like going on vacation with friends or anything like that). I've been offered an awesome summer internship that deals with what I'm interested in and was wondering if that may be a good reason? </p>

<p>Although, I'm a little torn. I'm kind of a quiet person and it might be a good thing to start off with less students. Are there any better reasons to attend the summer session? </p>

<p>Of course, if I were to be denied, I would attend the Summer session.</p>

<p>Summer season costs approx 7k. Can you afford that ? You don’t get any grants except PA Grant if you are in state. I highly doubt they will let you skip the summer season unless you are hospitalized or something. Call them tomorrow first thing in the morning. You will probably get immediate decision. They view you as $7000. Great way to earn money. </p>

<p>On the bright side, you get familiar with the campus earlier than others. You knock out 2 general eds. It will help you graduate in time i.e 4 yrs.</p>
