<p>Rutgers Newark 24000 a year, 14,000 in grants, 2,000 work study, so total of 8000 a year to attend. 32000 over a period of 4 years in dept.</p>

<p>Cons: I won't be able to dorm, I live nearby. :(</p>

<p>PSU <33 I’m in the same boat buddy minus me having to go to a nearby school for me it’d be like UCONN or UMASS and theyd each be under 20,000 but i lovee PSU way too much to miss out on the amazing college experience. I knwo it’s dumb to be in debt and I’ll regret it years from now but I’m praying PSU will ge tme a decent job and I’ll be able to pay it back soon enough.</p>

As a NJ resident and a senior in HS
Newark is dangerous place… Rutgers is asian infested (im asian myself)
Just think Newark as the ghettos in NYC
but Rutgers is a great college and has a good reputation and overall its a good school</p>
<p>Penn State is not famous for financial aid, and I would advise against taking out over $100k in loans for any school</p>
