to get a perfect score, how many questions can you skip? or do you actually have to get every answer right?

you definitely have to get all math right.
If you get a 9-12 on the essay, and all the mc right, you get an 800. If you get an 11 or 12 on the essay, you can miss like 1-3 mc.
CR- you can miss about 2

For the CR and math I’m pretty sure you need to get everything right.

But for the writing if you get a 12 essay I’m pretty sure you can miss 2-3 MC depending on the curve. But if you only get a 10 essay I think you need to get all the MC right.

You can definitely get some wrong, but obviously not many. The curve has to be VERY generous for you to get a math question wrong/skipped and still get an 800. Go for 100% on Math. CR is the most generous curve. You can probably get up to two, maybe three wrong, and still get an 800. Writing also allows some lee-way. I got an MC wrong on the Jan. SAT and still got an 800 (I had an 11 essay). And as someone said, if you get a 10 on the essay, you must get all the MC right.
