<p>What kind of perks (discounts, freebies) do Cornell students receive? Coupons to plays, local restaurants, movie tickets, etc?</p>

<p>Does the bus pass apply to one’s ‘first’ year? ex) transfer students</p>

<p>Yes, fall transfers receive the free bus pass for both semesters. Spring transfers get it for 1 semester.</p>

<p>Crap…only one semester for me then. X_x Oh well, I’m working so much this semester while I’m still home, I’ll have plenty of spare cash for getting all the extra accessory stuff.</p>

<p>bus pass is pretty useless, i rarely took the bus as a freshman. WALKING FOR THE WIN. I LOST 5 LBS in freshman year haha</p>

<p>There is always free food somewhere on campus. You just have to look around very carefully. And if you’re in a suit you can roll into Statler or the Johnson school and grab free food and some networking event.</p>

<p>the only perks i’ve really seen are the ones that my alumni network sends…i think the manager/owner? of the texas rangers is a cornell alum and he often has ticket/event deals for those interested…</p>

<p>you should sign up for your regional network…</p>

<p>another thing is having access to the cornell club membership once you graduate…cornell club membership also opens up other exclusive alumni clubs in cities outside of nyc</p>
