Person that inspired you/a life-changing experience

I hate these topics. These topics are the choices for almost every colleges I'm applying to. The thing is, I don't have that single person that inspired me. In fact, I don't believe in role models. I also don't have some kind of life-changing experience, especially ones I had recently. As you can see, my life is pretty plain.

What am I supposed to do about it?

Is this Princeton app ? ;)

I have the same prob. It is not so easy (impossibe?) to influence me, so 1st topic is out.

Now, I have to choose 2 from 3 identical topics, but with different quotes. Great. And I haven't such an experience too. I will write about whole life as life-changing experience.

You could always be honest and say that you haven't yet had a life-changing experience but are hoping to find your "inspiring person" who will provide you with that "life-changing experience" at [name of college here]. These kinds of essay prompts irritate me because they impose seemingly adult perspectives on high school kids.

Maybe a frank, honest approach would be more refreshing than the staid, trite "my history/English/math teacher" approach. Write what you REALLY want to SAY, not what you think they want to hear.
