Personal experiences on transferring with multiple Ws on transcript

Hey everybody,
I am a second year student at a community college looking to transfer to a UC/CSU. I am worried about my academic career as I have 6 Ws in my transcript. I just want to know if there are any students out there that were able to transfer to UC/CSU with the same amount of Ws or more. Please let me know, as it will help with my confidence and motivation.

Thank you

A few Ws aren’t that big of a deal but, you are signing up for classes and not completing them… no units for transfer, no boxes checked on your required course list. What changes from the time you register - to the time you withdraw? (an illness or death in the family would be solid explanations). Why are you wasting so much time (that is half a year+ of work)? and, what will you change going forward?

A good portion of your ‘education’ in college happens outside the classroom. As long as you learn and grow from your experience, that’s OK but, if you’d W’d 2 classes 3 semesters in a row, you have to take stock and make some adjustments to be sure the trend doesn’t continue.

Good luck.

I have a lot of Ws from years ago when I wasn’t taking school seriously and I’ve been admitted to some decent schools
