I've taken the SAT and ACT once and got

660 Critical Reading
760 Math
680 Writing (63 MC and 11 essay)

1420/1600 or 2100/2400

30 English
34 Math
35 Reading
29 Science
Unknown essay

32

which score is better and which should I submit to colleges next year. of more importance right now, should I re-take any of these?

i think most conversion tables say that a 32 on the ACT is equivalent to approx 2090~2150, which is about the same as your SAT score. Personally, if I got that ACT score, I would retake in April and choose which score is better. If you get a higher score on the ACT, then don't send the SAT. The only reason I WOULD NOT take the SAT again is because colleges can see if you do poorly / worse ... while ACT sends only the grade you want it to send

good luck!

thanks for responding

I feel that my 35 Reading would be hard to duplicate, I should get better than a 29 on science, and the english is anybody's guess. To complicate it more, I feel I can do better on both Reading and Writing SAT

but I guess the better question is how much better is worth the risk/cost/time of a retake
