Basically I’m trying to transfer from a California CC to either UCI, UCD, UCLA, or UCSB. I’m applying as a psych major to UCLA, UCD, and UCSB, but a psych & social behavior major to UCI (basically the same thing). My first prompt essentially talks about a depressive episode I had back in high school that initiated my interest in psychology and my second prompt acknowledges an experience I had while volunteering in a hospital that solidified my interest in becoming a physician. Can someone please help me edit these, give me feedback, and be extremely critical of them? I would rather not have these be edited by my parents or friends… the first prompt is a bit too personal for me to feel comfortable sharing with them. I’ve never applied to UCs before and I wrote both of these in 2 days… so I know they need work and blatant constructive criticism. I’ll PM both prompts to anyone interested!
