Does every admitted student (or enrolling student) at Brown get a personalized letter from an alumnus or admissions officer or etc in addition to the standard letter of admission? I saw one that said “amongst all the files, your file demonstrated an unparalleled…”, “perfect fit,” etc from a very strong candidate. Is that typical?

...no i didnt get that =(

I got one from my regional officer last year...

from my regional officer.

Not really. You probably had a regional officer who was able, timewise, to be very involved with you! Very nice!

As far as I know, at least my year, the regional officers all wrote a few sentences on the bottom of each acceptance letter.

I got one from my regional counselor, with a handwritten note at the bottom. Simple, but a nice touch.
