I’ve been following this thread for awhile as well, and I got accepted for the session starting Sept. 30th! So excited to meet everyone! I think my essay and grades were the main reasons for my acceptance
Is it a good sign for admission if accepted into POP? My kid was accepted - 3.9 UW/4.3W GPA; 31 C on ACT; top 5% of class; Strong unique ECs; URM; excellent writer.
@zomaya99 Usually if you get accepted to a school’s fly in program you have a pretty good chance of getting into the school.

Really excited, I went from not knowing about Pomona in June to Pomona being in my Top 3 schools!! Can’t wait for the fly-in experience.
Congratulations to everyone who was admitted! I have the numbers for last year:
735 applied, 106 attended (~14.5%). Of those who attended, 87 applied to Pomona and 67 were admitted, of whom 37 (55.2%) matriculated. That puts the acceptance rate at 77%.
They also admitted 9 who were not accepted to the fly-in but were admitted to the Class of 2021.
Has anyone received flight confirmation yet?
