Pharmacy program?

Is anyone here planning to go into Pharmacy at UCLA? Any information about the programs or classes they offer would be very helpful. I'm planning to major in Biochemistry, but it's specifically for pharmacy/pharmacology.

there is no pre-pharmacy program. you just take the classes that pharm schools require for you to apply.

Basically. Better to e-mail groups like Pre-Pharmacy Association to see what UCLA can offer to prepare you for pharm school, such as career prep or the like.

There is a medical pharmacology major, but i believe its for graduate school only, so its basically useless, unless you're willing to go to graduate school *and *pharmacy school, which i doubt

The only things you would really need to know would be from the pharm schools, since different schools have different reqs. (i'm planning on pharmacy)

UCLA Career Center

hopefully that helps

I'm sure UCLA has some variant of a prepharmacy association, such as the Berkeley PILLS which I thought was a cute acronym: http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~pills/subscribe.html

Medical pharmacology major for graduate students? Graduate students have majors? What the caca?

Why? You'd probably get rejected in the long-run and justify getting your hard-earned South Campus degree... slaving away to the pre-meds and **** only to find out you've a B.S. in Microbiology and some kid from North Campus is kicking your tail with his POS History degree. Same story!

Tell me how your 8-5 is going while I'm slaving away for the Man - working 100 hours/week and being miserable and too depressed to enjoy my wealth. Look, I'd prefer it over that other crap. AHAHAHAH! . .. . :(

i'm interested too since I got in UCLA and UCSD for biochemistry. I'm planning on going to pharmacy school after getting my BS
