Did anyone receive a phonecall after attending NASS? Do you know what it means? I got a phonecall maybe a month ago, asking about my experiences and other USNA related questions. Any help would be appreciated!

Who called you?

Admissions?

Coach?

BGO?

NCIS?

Fellow NASS attendee?

^^^^^
My daughter received the same telpehone call from admissions after attending NASS I.

According to what I was told, admissions is calling every NASS attendee. [Or, at least, they are trying to call every attendee; don't panic if you did not get a call. Admissions is using TAD Ensigns to make the calls and other priorities may come first.]

I think [and I emphasize I THINK] the Admissions officer told me that they were trying to call the more promising looking candidates first. [I would think the calling operation is mostly over by now.] Primarily a data-building contact to see how the experience went, etc.

There may have been some NASS attendees that were designated as candidates but did not receive their letters although they were sent out. To prevent good candidates from slipping through their fingers and as a good customer service follow-up practice, CGO decided to do a call-out and encourage candidates to continue their applications.
