Picture Upload

so for the picture on the supplement...mine becomes very blurry when I upload it to commonapp.org :c is there any way to fix this?

I haven’t had this problem. My picture file was actually too big originally and I had to compress it.

I would try uploading it again and checking to make sure your file isn’t bigger than 500 kB.

Cheers for last-minute up loaders!!! (I’m still writing an essay)

What I did was I copy and pasted the jpeg into a word document and uploaded it that way since it asks for a text file. How did you compress it? I really don’t want to send them a blurry picture :frowning: any advice is appreciated!

You might have better luck converting the jpeg to a pdf, if you can.

This won’t convert to pdf, but if you want to try another file type [Zamzar - convert document, eBook, image, audio and video - free online file conversion](http://www.zamzar.com/) has always worked well for file conversions for me.

Or, if you haven’t already submitted, save your word document as a pdf through microsoft office

Try printing to PDF rather than turning in a word doc

I use photopdf.com to convert the photos into a pdf file.
