For context, pitt is my dream school. For their application, they have "short answer questions " instead of essays. There are two for the honors program, and 3 optional ones for general admission. One is about something we’ve read/ watched/ listened to that impacted us, one that’s like “is there anything else we should know about you” and one that’s about creating a business/process/organization. It says that these are all optional but highly recommended, but idk if I need to do all 3. Like, since I wanna go into medicine and the 3rd question is more for business and engineering students, should I still answer it? Or what if there’s nothing of note that I could say for the 2nd prompt? What do yall think?
When colleges say ‘highly recommended’ it is in your best interest to do it…so you should complete all 5 essays. Good luck.
