PITT vs Drexel vs Temple???? Civil/environmental engineering?

Hello I plan on transferring from a pennsylvania community college(HACC) to one of these universities. Drexel and PITT have the same transfer requirements. Which one of these is best? Drexel offers a co-op which actually pays 1K a week, but its a more expensive school. PITT does not offer a co-op but its like 15K cheaper every year. PITT is also ranked higher. However, i'm thinking the experience i would gain at Drexel will pay off in the long run? Temple would be a safety school, so would Iowa State and Oklahoma State. I just need a job right out of college, that way I can put money into flight training because I want to become an airline pilot one day and am using engineering as a backup incase aviation were to fail for me for 100 different reasons.

In my humble opinion I would one hundred percent say Pitt. Temple for me like you also said was a safety school for engineering, and I didn’t even bother applying to Drexel because of A) The cost and B) One of my teachers now said her son went their for Mechanical Engineering and wanted to do a specialization within that major, and that Drexel never even offered him the option to do that. Pitt is a great school in a great city and if you are in-state then all the more merrier!

Not sure if that applies to transfers.

Out of the three in the thread title, Pitt is best. For aerospace/aeronautical engineering, Iowa State and Oklahoma State are superior to any of the other three. Iowa State is the best engineering school overall. Of course, you’d be OOS and paying OOS tuition at these.
