Place For Math Freaks To Brag About How Smart They Are

I like that guy's idea, whoever it was who said it, so I'm twisting it into an actual thread of its own. :D

So brag, brag, brag your hearts out!

To break the ice:
I have an A in math! In fact, I've gotten As in all my math classes since I was eight!
I've taken more math courses than Amy, Beth, or even YOU!
I'm also pretty good at DDR, if it's hooked up to a computer keyboard :D

Uh...I'm taking Real/Complex Analysis next year?

Oh, and did I mention I'm astounding at mathsex?

I have a B in stats. Woot!

i have a TI 89 Ti....

I have a CASIO Scientific! It's sexy -- and can reduce fractions!
Now if I could load Nethack onto a scientific calculator my life would be complete.

I have a spiffy black TI-89...they don't make those any more ;]

Having one of these is like saying "ha, I took calc before you did" to the platinum TI carriers. Just kidding =p

I'm a white female, in 10th grade, and taking AP Calculus AB!

And normally 10th graders do not take any APs-I believe I am the only one in school right now taking an AP.

Although, there's this 8th grader in my Spanish class who is going to do this too...

I have had an A in math since kindergarten :P

And what does "white female" have to do with math? :P I wish my school let us do that, but I wipe my a** with Calculus anyways :D

....I made up a math pun the other day.

I won the Wolf Prize.

Twice.

Pi r not square . . . pi are round!

Multivariable/Diff Eq, Discrete Math, and taking Complex Analysis and Linear Algebra next year. And I'm having the time of my life...

(Oh, and fizix--I'm into mathsex too ;) )

I actually suck at math. I'm in Pre-Calculus as a sophomore, which doesn't really matter, but is behind what I see a lot of people on here that are good at math do (and I'm only doing Calculus AB next year). Also, I've never even qualified for the USAMO (my AIME score went down, from 7 to 4 last year to this year), only got like 73 points on the USAMTS even though I tried really hard, never gotten an 800 or an 80 on any practice or real SAT or PSAT I've taken, and got like a 3 at ARML last year.

And it doesn't help I want to go into something really closely related to math (theoretical computer science.)

Haha. My AIME score went from a 7 to a 2.
So you're definitely not alone.

Of course, I'm pompous enough to actually want to be a mathematician of some sort :p.

I'm awsum?

ouch, I'm worse than you, I didn't even make it into the AIME as a freshman, sooo could've last year as an eighth-grader since last year's test was easy, but then turned it in with 40min left and some blank b/c they required effort to do, was close to getting in even so, all well, still deciding between pre-calc and calc for soph year...I'm with you, the stupider of CC:)

I've been the school Mathletes high scoreer twice, and second once. I aslo think I was district high scorer one of thos years.

I get the highest grade sin my AP Stats class. :D

I was the high scorer on the AMC at my school this year. I beat out seniors (2 of whom are going to Princetone, one to MIT), and the prospective Val for my junior class. :D But not AIME or anything... I don't think ever at my school.

My bad parts are my relatively low Regents scores (compared to hwat I got int he class, a 90 for Math A, and a 95 for Math B), and a burning passion for math. I honestly think I'll die in Calc BC next year. Of course, all these acomplishments are down-played by my asianess. :/

You rang?/*******/

6 on AIME, and AMC school winner, baby!

A's in math courses.. since I dunno when. Taken all the math classes offered at my community college and received A's in all, as well as the IB Math track at my highschool. Mucho math classes.

I'm so awesome, I get paid to tutor math at my community college, not to mention the side jobs that I do.

When I question the teacher, everyone believes me :) And they're always right, heh. My knowledge of math is deep as well as wide, and I'm a quick thinker also, so I do well in those brain-bowl types of situations.

But the awesome part of me is that I'm not only good at math.. I own school as the valedictorian and am a hip hop dancer, yo!

I don't know why I felt the need to be so braggy.. just did!
