Okay, I might be completely stupid, but last week when I saw that placement exams were up, I was feeling really ambitious and decided to take my Spanish placement exam (I would have taken math first, but it didn't work). However, the results/recommendations aren't appearing where they should, and it said that they would within 30 minutes, but it's been a few days. Now, neither exam will work, and I don't know what's going on. I emailed the orientation planning people, and they don't know what's wrong either. Does anyone else have this problem?

i haven’t actually tried them yet, but judging from some posts i saw on facebook, you’re not the only one having problems.

I hadn’t tried the language test yet, but I couldn’t get the math test to work either.

I was also unable to work the math test. Are we required to take all language exams regardless, or just the one we have a background in?

I assume just the one(s) you have background in / interest in pursuing in college.

Can you guys post when the placement tests appear to be up and running so that the rest of us who haven’t attempted them yet (a.k.a. me) can know when they’re okay to take? Thanks :)

I have no interest in pursuing any language in college but it is still required, correct? Same goes with math?

language is only for if you plan on continuing a language you’ve taken in high school, but you can also place using an AP score:
math is mandatory but we don’t have to take it until the end of the summer:

amalgamate, it’s only the language you’ve taken so far.

and i don’t think that one’s required but they suggest you do it just in case. i mean you might as well, right?

They’re working!

Yay (?), thanks.
