Could someone please tell me what comes in the math and science placement tests?
Are they similar to the SAT subject tests?

I took a math placement test yesterday. It was ok, covers just college algebra and pre-calculus staff…to me it was easy, but I was treating it not seriously and got 87%. But as their webpage says, 70% will be enough to place you in a calculus class. I mean, 70% for the math placement will be ok. I haven’t taken science placement test, so I don’t know about that

@wanghui Thanks! Please tell me how the others go.

I just did the placements tests as well. If you’ve had high school courses in Chem, Physics and Maths I wouldn’t imagine that you would have any issues with them. Also I found that the time limit they gave for Chemistry was plentiful and I did not feel like I needed to rush at all.

Hi! Has anyone taken the physics placement test? 211 is basic physics right, so I can’t imagine the placement test goes much past kinematic, vectors, etc. Any advice?

would anyone happen to know the difficulty of the spanish placement test?

bump

@jugglefun @sid0925 Hi all, I have taken all 4 placement tests (Pre requisites in high school was BC Calculus, Ap Chem, Ap Phys, and 4 of Spanish) and I had no difficulty at all. The math was a lot of geometry and basic algebra, Chemistry was basic balancing of equations, Spanish was just understanding conjugation and vocabulary, and physics was basic momentum without any calculus.
