<p>Don't forget .....a Floridian applying to northeastern schools can be seen as a geographical 'hook"......how many students from your high school in Daytona are thinking of going up north for college? I bet not many!</p>
<p>check out Mary Washington in Fredricksburg VA. (its not a girls school - thats Mary Baldwin) MW is a smallish public univ (was an LAC till last year)</p>
