Planning on bringing a Nintendo 64 to college, what is your opinion?

Crimson, this was the quote

“I’d take an N64, but wouldn’t think about taking anything else Freshman year, at least. N64 is fun for group stuff, but you don’t really get lost in it like you do with Skyrim, Halo, etc. so you won’t get obsessed and never go out of your dorm.”

“Obsessed and never go out of your dorm.”

So I stand by what I said. If that ^ really is the effect bringing a console will have on you, how will you manage living on your own? Just basic self control would be lacking at that point.

I’ve had my 360 with me every year at college. I watched all of E3 and am debating which next gen console to get. But I’ve never let my 360 keep me locked away in my dorm room/apartment.

Wow, I thought we were all kidding around here. Sorry if I offended you.

lol, if we all did something specific then these arguments would never happen

I think it only took watching two conferences at E3 to figure out which console would be the one to go with next generation. ;)

Answer is actually neither and just go PC instead.

ThisIsMichigan, again, I’m not even bringing ANY console with me because I really won’t have any time, so if you’re trying to convince someone that they shouldn’t go to college because they lack self-control, you aren’t talking to the right people.

TomServo, I wouldn’t say CrimsonStainedPants is kidding around :-P

With the nostalgic nature of this generation, they will love you for it. My friend had an XBOX 360 with BO2 in the console as well as a GameCube with Mario Kart in the console and everyone flocked to the GameCube and left the 360 alone lol
