Plastic Surgery?

^ I suppose if it’s your face then I guess. But I don’t think a boob job should be regarded as nothing much with all the side effects and everything it can cause, even if compared to a nose job.

The more I think about it the less the more reasonable it sounds… I mean as long as you don’t end up looking ridiculous putting F-cups on a 5 foor frame then, you look a little better and if it makes you feel a little better and you can afford it. Why the hell not?

^Thanks, man.

I’m so psyched to go through with it now.

It seems you’ve made up your mind already. If it’s what you want, go through with it.

What’s the going rate for breast augmentation these days?

Hm, but the thing is that the surgery does not (and the successful outcome does not) guarantee that she will feel better.
There is the small chance that things do go wrong though in the process too, so I hope you’re very careful about everything. I also heard that people who had boob jobs had to have one again after around 10 years?

Just don’t go telling everyone you had it done. There was this one girl in my school who made it public that she had breast augmentation, and I can most definitely say I did not have the best impression of her.

And make sure you won’t regret it ten years down the road . . .

^ I believe 10 years from now (given that the job was done well) she would be even more satisfied with them since she won’t suffer the same aging process that other natural girls would have. My opinion remains that if she want’s to have them done, who are we to stop her from doing so?

Go for it OP!

Yeah, that, and it’s annoying me.

She said in the OP “What do you think?”. So naturally, we tell her what we think. No one is forcing her either ways.

I think BigKev should get a breast augmentation.

@PioneerJones: as in how many women have them? I’ve read that about 3% of women a year get the surgery, but I don’t know for sure.

@Splonk: I wouldn’t do that. I’m not sure why anyone would. Most people want them to appear at least a little natural, so telling everyone their fake kinda defeats that purpose.

@BigKev: Exactly. Besides the immediate dangers like hematomas or whatever, I feel like in the long run it’s only positive.

@HarryJones: I’m not sure why I’m annoying you. I’ve been pretty sure I want the surgery all along, hence why I mentioned it to my dad in the first place. The reason I asked for your opinions is because I wanted to hear what you guys think about the subject or if anyone had any compelling arguments as to why I should not go through with it. And some posters have. Maybe I’m just bothering you because you do think I’m being shallow/superficial?

@futurexecutive: Haha, but no. If there were a jaw-chiseling surgery for guys maybe he could go for that.

The average cost of a boob job is between $4,000 and $10,000. At 18 or 19, I think there are much wiser investments you can make with that kind of money. Specifically, your college education, which is infinitely more valuable in the long run than cosmetic surgery. Why not use that money to help your parents put you through college, or buy a car?

And bear in mind, very many people frown upon breast implants. The younger you are when you get them, the more you will be judged for it. Why are you so eager to have it done so soon? Why the urgency?

Also, I think BigKev is the sly devil on aspire2011’s shoulder :).

I’ve always wanted breast augmentation! I’m only an A cup right now…

Funny story, me and my friend actually went out to Victoria’s Secret to ask for bra measurements. The look on the lady’s face was priceless.

If years of elder scrolls addiction has taught me anything, it’s that it’s not about the character models. Sure, your character might be ugly, but when you’re Arch-mage of the mages guild and a master swordsman decked out in rare jewelry, who cares? Essentially, I’m saying there are other options. You may find compensating for your looks by equally vain means will provide the same empty feeling at the end of the day. It all comes down to what all the cool kids are doing.

The Thieves Guild is where it’s at now. All the cool kids are parading aroung with their Grey Cowls of Nocturnal.

^I’d get me one of those then, aspire. Besides covering your wrinkles (along with your entire face), I guarantee that everyone will think you are a completely different person.

^ LMAO at the posts above

I hate it when guys go into Victoria’s Secret.

"Besides covering your wrinkles (along with your entire face), I guarantee that everyone will think you are a completely different person. "
Lawl, +1 to you

I just seemed to me that you had already made you decision and were just looking for us to say “Great idea, do it”. That annoys me.

Do what you want to do!

This a thousand times. There’s nothing constructive about fishing for a certain response and paying less attention to those that are inconsistent with your wishes.
