Ok now this might be a stupid question.

I am a future international graduate student at your fine university. I love football (American football that is) but have never played it. So here's my question :

Is there any way I can play on an organized full-contact non-varsity football team at the University of Michigan ?

Thanks in advance for answering.

I do not know the answer to your question, but have you ever played tackle football before? A lot of people believe they will love it and then they put the pads on and realize how much different it is.

Like I said I’ve never played football before so maybe you’re right. I’d like to find out for myself though.

Anyways I know you can play IM flag football at Michigan, but what about tackle football ?

Well, I doubt there is a club-team for tackle football because of the price of equipment and just liability issues. However, you can always just get a group of people to play tackle football without the pads.

I think you’re right. I just found out that the only universities offering IM tackle football are the service academies and Notre Dame. And apparently Michigan doesn’t have a football club.
