Good afternoon…we thank you for your suggestion. Forums are primarily created if current discussions warrant it. In other words, if we are finding a lot of discussion around a school that doesn’t have a forum we will consider creating one. Unfortunately, I do not see a lot of dedicated discussion around Winthrop at this time as there are only a handful of threads about the school over the past few years.
We can certainly re-visit this at a later date. Thanks again for the suggestion!
I certainly would have posted much more if there was a forum dedicated to it. My logic was that a university that is ranked as one of the “2013 Best in the Southeast” by the Princeton Review would deserve a spot on this forum.
It may be highly ranked, but I haven’t seen any discussion around it either, and I’ve been reading the forums for about a year now. Winthrop is usually mentioned in threads about school selection, or questions about it are non school-specific, so I don’t think it needs a devoted subforum that is designated for school-specific questions.
If you search on Facebook, though, there’s a number of groups and pages for Winthrop University that might be able to help answer your questions.
