I know I have a bad SAT, I have been studying, should be around 1700.

Your UC GPA 3.97? (correct) is in range for most of the UC’s, but your SAT is on the low side of being competitive.
You have 1st generation going for you. You would need at least a 1900+ for UCD and 2100+ for UCSD/UCLA/UCB.
You need to have more matches and safeties on your list. I would add UCR/UCSC as possible matches. Maybe some Cal States as safeties and also include UCI.

UCB/UCLA/UCSD: Reach
UCD: High Match/Low Reach (Bio very competitive for UCD)

Good Luck and do well on the SAT.

What is not a competitive major for UCD, that easy to get into. Just for general knowledge.

Some UCs use holistic admissions such as UCB, UCLA. I remember one year, one student got into UCLA with 1600.
If it’s too late for you to retake the SAT or ACT, focus more on your essays.

@DrGoogle I can retake it, but what about UCD

Use this link and check the pdf file on the right, I think you are below the cusp for standardized test scores. ACT is better above 25, you have 40% chances, from 21-25 you have 29%. Your UCGPA is also on the cusp, but I think you are better there than your ACT score.
