UCI’s my first choice (even though I don’t have a strong chance of being accepted), but I want your opinions. I’m paranoid that my terrible AP exam score will hurt me… I know there’s nothing outstanding about me, but my English teacher read/edited my personal statements and said they were very good and interesting, so I’m hoping that will save me lol. Thanks!

UCI will be a tough call. You’re a California resident, so that will help. It will depend on your major.

Don’t worry about your AP scores since they don’t really use them to admit you.

Your ECs look good.
I say you’re good for Chapman and Fullerton.

I agree with @aunt bea that UCI could go either way, but Chapman and CSUF look like matches.
Good Luck.

Thank you!

Have you ever thought about UCSC, UCR, UCM, SDSU, UCSB, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU Long Beach? There’s plenty of school that are sort of in between UCI and CSUF.
