What am i lacking? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You definitely need to raise that SAT score (or possibly take the ACT). You also need to take at least 2 SAT Subject Tests for BC, Cornell, Vassar, Tufts, and Penn.

BC - reach
Boston University - match
Cornell - high reach
Tufts - low reach
Vassar - low reach
Penn - high reach

You need to retake the SAT, and try the ACT. Right now no chance at UPenn and Cornell. Tufts and BC are reaches. BU is a match. Can you chance me please? My thread is in the first two pages titled 'I've chanced a lot lately, time for you to chance me!'.

This is a parent. All of those schools are high reaches for you. BC and BU have become very competitive. I am familiar with all of those schools, except Vassar. Sorry to be hush, but you need to start looking into next tier for some matches or you'll be disappointed. Not sure what grade you got in AP history to get a 3 on the test. It is an indication on the quality of the course, as well as on you. Most of those top tier schools look for some sort of leadership, and you have been as a member, not an officer.

Have you consulted your GC on what schools you should be applying to based on your stat? Why have you not taken SAT I more than once, and why no SAT IIs? I would recommend to all hs students to finish with all of their tests by end of Junior year. You should continue to take most challenging courses senior year, keep up with your ECs, and finishing up on your college applications (most cases it would be around 10 applications, possibly 20-30 essays). If you have to studying for SATs, you would be very stressed.

Just a note to rising seniors, do not let your senior grades slip just in case if you get waitlisted or need to transfer to another college later.

Assuming that you get your SATs to 2000+, none of these schools is out of the question... but Penn is very, very unlikely. It's unlikely for everyone -- you really need to stand out in some area to get in.

I'm impressed with and jealous of your ECs. You have a good variety of interests and unique awards in them. (As someone who likes to memorize digits of pi, too, I have to ask -- how many digits did you recite? XD) Sooo make your essays stand out!

And don't say that a 3 is "bombing" an AP exam. It's totally passing! >:[

Thank you ALL for your advice! I understand those are high reaches but i guess knowing that they're "out of the question" as of now motivates me to be better. I m planning to take my SAT 2s in november and im retaking the SAT I in oct.
To answer poseurs question, i memorized 157 digits of pi for my schools pi contest. I have a bunch of useless ECS, so im definitely going to try my best to earn some leadership positions this year.

Oh yeah, narrow down your ECs to the ones you're really proud of/ most passionate about. They're not entirely out of the question, it's just going to be a big stretch with your stats :(.

Just out of curiosity... what are your safeties? I might be able to recommend some more matches that are slightly below the schools you listed. Your school list looks a lot like mine did a few months ago so I think I know what you're looking for. :)

Btw, return the favor por favor. Uhh my thread is called This thread has no title, just words and a tune.

You have a decent chance at your top choices as for upenn and cornell (ivies=unknown), though Cornell is a little easier to get into =). Raising the SAT is the pinnacle of acceptance in your situation. I'm sure in October you will be ready. AP tests do not count as much as the acutal class in applications because they are mostly for placement, so that's a good thing. EC's are good as well. Good luck.
