Just like at any University, this answer truly depends on a wild variety of factors: subject, level, professor; etc. People taking the same PSYC 101 course might have different opinions of it because they might have a different professor, or one of them might end up hating the subject.

Overall, most classes are considered academically stimulating and rigorous. Most people wouldn’t describe the courses here as an “easy A.”

There’s definitely a lot to do, both on and off campus. A segment of the student body is involved in Greek Life and their activities. We have campus organizations dedicated to the social life, such as [Late Nite Binghamton](http://latenite.binghamton.edu). However you want to spend your time off from classes, I can guarantee you that Binghamton has something for you!

Both, and in the best ways. In the residential communities, it feels small because you get to know everyone around you and develop meaningful friendships with the people you live with. It feels like a big campus because there are so many people to get to know, and so many different activities and organizations to get involved with! Truly, the best of both worlds.

Binghamton typically has a 50/50 ratio of male/female. You’d need to decide this one for yourself. ;)

I haven’t really been downtown, which is most of the bars are. I’ve been to areas closer to campus, and there’s definitely a lot of stuff to do here. We have movie theaters, restaurants, coffee shops, museums, and large retail stores like Walmart or Wegmans. There’s definitely stuff to do off campus, and we have plenty of FREE buses to get us there!

Honestly, I love it. So do most of the freshmen here – over 90% of freshmen choose to return for their sophomore year! But, the best thing to do is to visit yourself! :D
