Me and my brother are very intent on going to Syracuse University, In fact, It is our number 1 choice more than anything. We understand both that if we do ED2 it means it is binding - that is what we are afraid of. What happens if one gets accepted and the other does not? It would not be fair to one another. So I ask two questions: Should we do it in hopes that Syracuse is welcoming to accepting both of us? Or do RD for the safe side? Please respond and if you know anyone who is a twin please let me know if they both were accepted or what. Thanks We both plan on applying to HEOP as well if that means anything
Do you both have comparable stats? And do you both have to attend the same university? If you were admitted and your twin was not, would you be ok passing up the opportunity to attend your top choice? If you have the stats to be admitted RD, then it might be best to go that route.
Student interest carries a lot of weight at SU, so ED2 would give you both an edge in admissions. If one of you did not get in, SU has articulation agreements with several community colleges that will allow an automatic admit with a certain gpa, usually a 3.0. And all the credits will transfer.
Good luck.
