Please help me, and tell me my chances for UC Riverside, Merced, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Davis, and Irvine ): And Pepperdine, Occidental, Pitzer, Boston University, if you guys can.
My explanation for my sophomore year grades is that the following happened:
My dad got a heart attack, the beginning of many health problems
My mom got into a serious car accident
My close uncle died of cancer
My brother became completely deaf in one ear after struggling with an infection for months
We filed for bankruptcy after a large sum of money was stolen from us by my mom's close friend
Had to relocate houses 3 times in a few months
My color guard instructor was fired, which impacted me incredibly
Not sure if these are just excuses, but they really did affect me a lot, negatively.

Income: $350,000+
Dad went to graduate school (is a physician/surgeon)
Mom went to some graduate school , but left freshman year
CA resident (born in LA).

The major I want to do is going to be something related to linguistics, foreign language, or ethnic/culture studies. I plan to apply for the peace corps after college, but no current plans for after that.
I attend a good high school in an LA suburb (API score about 900), I think in the top 2% or so in the nation. I also live in an affluent community, if that makes a difference.

Extracurriculars: I'm a volunteer at the LA Zoo (about 100 hours, expecting more), completed after interview and application process, had to pass a 12 week long class with a 90% average on tests. I was in color guard for 3 years (junior year I just didn't take the class), I've done taekwondo for a while. Overall, not much ):

I've also been in Calif. Scholarship Federation (CSF) since sophomore year (earliest time you can qualify), and I expect to be a gold seal graduate.

Please help me out! I've been having major anxiety recently, and I'm not sure where to look. Thank you guys so much!
