I'm trying to apply to Exeter. I'm wondering what would happen if one teacher refuses to give me a teacher's recommendation. This happened to a friend of mine. Also, what would I do if that happened? Would I just get rejected?

Also, the deadline for the application is in 1 month. When should I give the letter to the teachers?

Can’t you just ask another teacher in that case? Also, there’s a forum for prep schools, so you might be able to get better help from that forum. Many are parents of current students and alumni. I don’t really know much of the admissions process at Exeter, as I only went there for the Summer School, which is completely different from the regular year.
You should give it to your teachers as soon as you can.
Exeter’s awesome, good luck!

I don’t want to add to your agitation, but the answer to “When should I give my teachers the recommendation form?” is, “Already.”

Do it right after Thanksgiving.
