I am really confused how to compose this one because I can't simply write rigorous academics or good students. I want to major in engineering because I was best at math and Science in School and like building creative stuff. But how do I compose a 300+ word essay with this?

Please advice me on this. Sample engineering essays would be welcome( I would be a fool to plagiarize). I am thinking of applying to Duke, Princeton, Cornell

Avoid using phrases like "write rigorous academics" or "building creative stuff".

Also, why do you think majors outside of engineering cannot be challenging or difficult? I would think that most people who become engineers do so because the challenge of applying physics, math, and other hard sciences to everyday problems is appealing and mentally stimulating.

All because you are good at something, doesn't necessarily mean that you should do it. Figure out why you want to do it, apart from challenging academics and past performance in associated courses, and you'll do fine.

You should read up on what engineering really is first. Then you'll have more of an idea of why it (or won't) interest you. More than likely, you'll find yourself interested in a particular branch of engineering, so perhaps you can focus on why you like electrical engineering (for example) specifically. Most people I've met never had an interest in branches of engineering other than what they're majoring. Personally, if I didn't do civil engineering, I wouldn't have done engineering at all.
