I will be applying to university this year and I’m planning on majoring in biological sciences ( probably molecular genetics idk for sure). I’ve already chosen which schools I want to apply to but they are mostly reaches. Does anyone know any “normal” schools with this major where I have a good shot at getting in? (2170 SAT )

Biology is available everywhere, molecular genetics not so much. You’ll want a large research U. Perhaps Ohio State or Penn State?
You can get into the vast majority of four-year colleges in the US, especially if you don’t require financial assistance. The ones you will have trouble getting into are the small group of elite “brand-name” colleges. What would you like in a college: rural, urban, or suburban; large or small; big-time sports programs; local arts or cultural scenes; region/climate; access to major transportation hubs; skiing/snowboarding, windsurfing, wilderness nearby? There are thousands of options, and you will need to help us narrow down the list. Most colleges offer Life Sciences, and can provide a pre-medical curriculum.
Biology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology would be easy majors to locate at a smaller college where the access to facilities and research opportunities may be greater than at a large university. (For majors more specific than this your choices would be narrower.) Though smaller colleges are not always “normal” either – in the sense that their admissions can be very competitive as well – including a few in your search may extend the options ultimately available to you.
