Hi,

So I am currently a sophomore in high school. I went my entire life not really caring about my grades, which may in part be due to my ADD and depression. After discovering this site I've been much more motivated to work on my grades and my GPA has risen from a 3.5 to about a 3.76 (it's still rising) at a very rigorous prep school, which is great. However, there are times when I cannot focus on my work at all. I also keep getting distracted and I'll tell myself that I'm checking the school website, but I'll end up wandering to other websites. How do you guys stay motivated? I used to take ADD medication to help me focus and none of it even worked. I finally found medication that acted as a stimulant (and it helped a ton), but after a while it wore off and made me extremely depressed. :( That was 7th grade and I've been afraid to try medication again after that. What are other ways to stay motivated? I'd be especially happy if people with ADD and/or depression can answer this.
