Your academic stats are very good and on the right track for top tier schools. Work on getting up your weighted GPA though. Your ECs are also very impressive with a nice mix of variety and leadership positions. You are qualified for top-25 schools for sure.

My thread (chance back please): <a href=“Chances for Vanderbilt, UNC, NYU, UF, and Duke? - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1610985-chances-for-vanderbilt-unc-nyu-uf-and-duke-p1.html</a></p>

thanks @sloth83 my gpa is actually 2.8 right now…but after 11th gr is over…my gpa will for sure be 3.0…and when i apply for college i will use a 3.0/4…hopefully i will MAX my classes in 12th gr first semester so tht i can boost my mid year report’s GPA!!! THANKS

Actually i read your app wrong the first time. Your unweighted GPA really isnt good enouh for top tier colleges, and you test scores wont really make up for it…

your sat, act, and sat II scores are different from your last thread

Good test scores and EC’s but GPA needs work. Even with perfect scores, EC’s and GPA, Harvard is a reach for anyone. You need to improve that GPA for any chance for top tier schools which are is small. Make sure you have at least 2 good safeties to balance out any reaches when you apply.

A few things:

 1. You are not URM
 2. Harvard is absolutely out of the question
 3. You need to be mostly looking at schools that accept greater than 50% of applicants.
 4. What kind of Texas high school has no guidance counselors?

GUYS look at his other thread his stats totally changed. Obviously a ■■■■■

no i am not a ■■■■■ @peezus…i got confused with gpa and test scores…that all…these are my actual scores…i got the results back, there is no need to be rude

@Gumbymom thank you for your help…idk the difference between weighted and unweighted gpa…my highest gpa on my school report says 3.0/4.0…can u please explain?
