Please help me. I'm getting desperate.

Hey guys, its me again. Well about a few weeks ago I decided I was going to try to do direct admission for CUNY Baruch and they told me that they needed to see that I had at least taken one math course with a C or better.

Before we start I am an Accounting major and I'd like to do something in the business field.
My best options are Binghamton or Baruch.

So now my options are extremely limited. The deadline for Spring 2012 for CUNY's I believe is around September. However, even if I apply for Spring 2012, CUNY's will NOT see my Math course that I will be taking in Fall 2012. So should I stay at St.John's for another year (would really not like to go this route.) then attempt to get into either Binghamton or Baruch for Fall 2012. Or stay for the next semester (Fall 2011) and transfer next semester (Spring 2012) to UAlbany, UBuffalo, or another SUNY/CUNY with a decent accounting program. Stay for half a semester, and then attempt to transfer to Bing/Baruch?

But I'm afraid colleges frown upon transferring too many times I.E Me going from St.John's to UAlbany for half a semester and attempting to transfer into Binghamton or Baruch.

If it means anything, I'm expecting a 4.0 next semester.

I would just stay at St. Johns if I were you.

St. John’s isn’t reputable for its business programs unfortunately. The employment rate for graduates is 26%… and I really don’t like the environment as well. Please help me!

Bump please help :(

How about you take the class this fall, and apply this fall. Baruch will know that you are currently enrolled in that class, and if they need an estimate of your likely grade, your teacher can send it. If you don’t get in for the spring, perhaps you can be admitted for the summer of 2012.

Don’t go back to a university that you hate if you have other options.

If I inform Baruch that I am taking Math and am likely to achieve a “C” or better (as per CUNY’s requirements) will they take this into consideration or they must see that I have math on my transcript?

Note: I don’t believe I can have a professor send my likely grade because the deadlines for CUNY are somewhere around Sept.

Thank you for your responses so far.

Please help guys!

bump 10char. :/

can anyone help?

thanks

Here are some options that you can do:

 1. Stay at St. Johns for the fall semester , take a Math course and classes that will fullfill the gen ed at any school and apply for Queens, Baruch, Bing for Spring 2012.

If you cant afford St. Johns to an extreme point, go to a CC for a semester and still apply for the Spring. If you are that worried of the Math course, then

Go to the direct admissions for the spring 2012 with HS transcript, college transcript, $70 is only if you are not in the cuny system. If you do decide to go to cuny for the fall, you only pay $70 once.
