I just want to ask for your opinion. So I was looking as to what else I needed to take for my pre-req and igetc and I figured that I am almost done. If I really want to, I can take the remaining classes next quarter and be done with it. But

Hmm, I would suggest taking the honors classes. It’s been my observation that community college honors classes are only marginally more difficult than regular classes. Hell, that seems to be the case in high schools/universities in general, lol. Even if they are a lot more difficult, you could always receive tutoring. This is what I’d do if I were you. I’d hate to transfer at a certain time only to be burdened with financial problems if I could transfer later and avoid that kind of problem.

I also suggest you talk with your counselor about this. Different perspectives will help you make the best choice possible. Good luck, man.

A) Taking honors class by itself is usually worthless. In most situations you want to complete the honors program.

B) Honors classes really depend on the professor. I took honors business 100 and only difference was an extra presentation along with all the tests going from scantron to written fill-in the blank. On the other hand the honors oceanography class and lab require a lab report every week along with a current, event, journal, etc.

Thanks for the advice guys! I think i will try to take one class and see how it is structured. If I see that I can’t handle it, then i will dropped it. Thank you so much again for the advice.
