the topic is; is failure necessary for education to occur.

According to Fred L. Miller, failure is the key to learning. When a person fails in a particular endeavour, the person learns from that experience.so failure is a sort of motivator for education.Like when a baby is learning how to walk, the baby's legs are wobbly and unsteady at first and he or she trips over things and falls down. But when the baby gets up to try again, he or she has learnt from the previous failure and takes sure and steady steps forward.
One of the most popular and renowned scientists of all times, Thomas Eddison is a very good example to illustrate my point. Thomas Eddison was determined to invent the light bulb.He got all the necessary things ready and began with this endeavour. But as luck would have it, he just kept failing in every attempt to make this invention. His friends and colleagues advised him to give up, that it was a waste of time, but he did not.He failed and failed in all his attempts.Unfortunate you may say, but that's not the end. after his ninety-ninth attempt, he finally succeeded, he invented the light bulb. The secret of his eventual success is that each time he failed in his endeavour, he learnt from his previous failure and used that experience for his next attempt. He learnt from his failure and eventually succeeded and today, everyone is still benefitting from that failure of thousands of years ago.
Another very good example is my experience during my preparation for the SAT.We had weekly tests in school to prepare us for the final SAT day. I worked hard for my test and igot a 1430. I was very disappointed at this score. i felt i had failed.the good news is that i actually learnt my mistakes in my previous test, new strategies and plans to score higher on my next test. during my next test i felt a lot more confident. i was faster and i scored a 1770, a lot better than the previous one. it was my failure that motivated me to do better than the previous one.if i hadnt failed i wouldnt have become better.
In conclusion, it is always necessary for failure to take place for someone to learn. failure acts as the stepping stone to lead us to greater heights.when you fail, you learn from that failuer and do better in your next attempt.
