Hi, I am set up to take the PLTW medicine track throughout high school.
9- PLTW Principles of Biomedical Sciences
10-Human Body Systems
11- Medical Interventions
12- Biomedical Innovation
Will taking all of these classes show my dedication to medicine? My ultimate goal is to study at Cornell CALS or CAS, I have an interest in psychology and neuroscience. Thank you, any advice is appreciated
Well, with four years of biomed classes it should definitely show that you’re dedicated to that field. If you can, try to get into EC’s and clubs related to medicine.
I’m an incoming junior in that program, and I really liked PBS and HBS. Everything is based around labs and internet research- the teacher doesn’t really do anything. I really liked that because I could go at my own pace and I got to work with other students who were also interested in becoming doctors.
