Police Record Question

Hi everybody! Hope your pursuits are going well!

I just had a question about my police record check. If somebody could please provide me with some insight, I would most appreciate it.

I sent my police record check into West Point a while back with a clean record. However, I got pulled over for speeding. Luckily, I only received a warning from the state trooper with no fine. Do I still need to report this warning, even though I was not issued a fine or punishment? Or is this warning still a traffic violation?

Thanks for any help!

I never heard that you are required to submit police records

If you are offered an appointment you will be sent a form that you give to your local police department. They will check to see if you have any kind of record, fill out the form and return it to West Point.

What are you going to report, that you got pulled over????

and no

Just that I was warned by my State Trooper for speeding. No fines or charges though! YAY!

I don't think I will worry about it. Thanks for the help!

If thats all you have to worry about, some how I dont think you are going to have any problems. Good luck!

Police report is critical. West Point is pragmatic about the scraps folks get into and perhaps even forgiving, but they have zero tolerance if problems you did not report appear in the police report.

there is nothing to report there. dont even worry about it.
