PoliSci/Gov Major deciding on a school, accepted at two so far

Alright so I'm trying to decide what school to attend and here's how it goes:

I've been accepted at St. John's and Furman for Government and Politics and Political Science respectively. I have also applied to to NC State, U of South Carolina, Clemson, FSU, and Miami.

Since I applied to Furman ED I must decide whether to enroll or not by Jan. 15th. I have two problems.

One. By Jan. 15th I will not hear back from any other schools. Two. I want to do ROTC at Furman and am very familiar with the program but have not been given a scholarship yet but they assure me I will be given one and want me to enroll.

I am having trouble deciding if I should enroll now or wait, can I defer my application to RD at Furman? and also which of these schools has the best Political Science program? Thanks everyone.

bumppppppp

If you applied ED1 you have to enroll....u signed a form that said that you would

No their ED is different, you have until Jan. 15 to send in the form with your deposit or decision not to enroll

If you apply ED it's becuase you wanted to go there and shouldnt be waiting to hear back from other schools. You have two choices. Turn it down and wait for the other schools. Or turn in your $400 deposit and either 1) decide in the end to go to Furman - no loss or 2) loose the 400$ deposit and go someplace else if you get a better deal. Might be worth it if you get a better deal. Frankly, if you are so undecided you should not have applied ED.

Good luck with your decision

if you’re uncertain, you definitely shouldn’t apply Early Decision to Furman, definitely defer to regular.
