Political Science Colloquium

Hi, I'm asking this question for a friend: Is it okay if he takes the political science colloquium even if it interferes with another class on his schedule, as long as he watches the lectures on YouTube?

Thanks in advance!

Oh, and GO BEARS!

I’m pretty sure you can’t do that. Most classes take attendance so it wouldn’t quite work.

Isn’t that like in Wheeler where there are tons of students?

PS 179’s class size is over 700. I high doubt they’ll take attendance.

I think it’s just a matter of whether he can skip out on the other class or not when PS 179 has midterms and stuff (assuming that PS 179 has midterms).

From what I’ve heard PS179 just has a (MCQ) final the last day of class.

You don’t really need to go to class. I took it last semester and only went to 2 lectures. I just listened to the webcasts for the lectures I missed the week of the final and passed the class.
