Im aware that most of you are HS juniors/senior. ****, Im even aware that some of you are neurotic freshmen/sophomores. The point is, Ive always believe that the name of this site is misleading since about at least 80% of the users here are people in HIGH SCHOOL! Shouldnt it be called HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL since this site is offering tips on how to ACE HIGH SCHOOL in order to get into college? Anyway, the poll asks your opinion on the following question:

Who Should be permitted on College Confidential? High School students, or College students?

No, there is no neutral or "everyone" answer. This is all or nothing. I dont want to see comments because they digress from the main poll. Lets get serious CCers and VOTE! After 25 pages have been covered, Ill PM Roger Dooley about the poll ONLY if the poll goes in favor of college students, which, sadly, I doubt will happen. I'll be the first to vote!

High School Students: 0
College Students: 1

This is a board about getting into college, discussion about college, and looking for colleges. I think it is only logical that there would be high school students here (I'm assuming you don't need an explanation why).

you SONUVABICH! I SPECIFICALLY said that no side discussion is to take place. Either vote or get off the thread. DARRRRRR! And I thought kids here were smart!

I'll also violate the rules of this thread, becuase I also feel like some side discussion. The main intent of College Confidential is for high schoolers trying to get into college. they offer counseling, admission and essay help. this discussion board is part of that. there is one section called college life, but there are several highschool related sections, and a LOT of admission related topics.
So really the only answer is that it's really intended for both highschoo and college students.
And what's the point of a voting poll if you only submit the results if they go in your favor? and only submitting it if you want to wouldn't work well. Don't you think the mods read the threads?

I dont see why college kids would come on here actually. when I get into college I probably won't be using CC as much. And just to make u happy shastarasta

Shastarasta, meat is not needed to survive. If it was, there would be no vegetarians or vegans. I have survived for 8 years w/out animal flesh, so it can be done. However, most people either don't give a s**t about other animal species or are too addicted to munching on carcasses to make an effort to go meatless. I admire people who at least make an attempt. One of my friends tried several times unsuccessfully before he was finally able to give up meat. He has been meat free for over a year now and has lost quite a bit of weight. He was a bit overweight, so he definitely made the right choice to go veg.

If it is only natural that we eat meat, I guess that E-coli, salmonella, and mad cow disease are just little perks for being "natural".

I will concede that I am not a vegan. I cannot give up pizza or ice cream, despite trying a few times. I try to do what I can for the animals though.

I am not writing this to pat myself on the back. I am just defending TheVeganActress and all of the other non-meat eaters out there. We are growing in number, so you are going to have to deal with us if you like it or not. Don't insult some one just because they are different from you.

As for this thread, my vote goes to high school students. While most of the students on this site are high school students, most of what they post pertains to colleges and college admissions. Therefore, the name College Confidential is appropriate.

I see no point in becoming a vegetarian. Besides "E-coli, salmonella" and all that stuff(which you can get from non meat too), what are some other reasons Hep?
