<p>Then no not too significantly. In the real world (as in not in cc) a 2070 is considered to be pretty impressive</p>

<p>we’re talking about stanford, harvard, columbia, NYU stern, michigan etc. I have a 4.0 gpa, exceptional talent in a unique extra curricular etc. Only vice is this sat score :P</p>
<p>Michigan and Stanford are definitely in the ballpark with that SAT score, but I’m not as sure about Harvard and Columbia. If I knew more details of your EC, that kind of stuff turns a 2070 into an awesome application.</p>
<p>Yeah man, Asian male with a 2070 = rejection unless you are EXCEPTIONAL (not just really good) at something. As in, top few in the nation</p>

<p>That’s not really a hook, as it is something you’re good at. But think of the college’s perspective… Do they REALLY need a professional go player? If not, it’s not a hook. But yeah I would recommend taking it again</p>

<p>And my counsellor advised me ti not retake as sat is just an indicator. Althougj getting a low sc9re will harm you, gett8ng a high score wont help. He said that your gpa and grades transcript matters much more.</p>

<p>2070 is too low for Stanford, Harvard or Columbia as an asian. If you look at accepted stats, most people are 2200+</p>
