Portland State vs. UBC

Hi Community,
I am looking at transferring to one of these two schools: Portland State University or University of British Columbia

I am planning on getting my Undergrad Business Degree in Real Estate Finance.
But I'm having a really hard time trying to decide on which college to choose.

If I choose to go to Portland State, I would pay roughly $16,222.
For University of British Columbia, I would pay roughly $74,759.
Both are in US Dollars.

If I choose PSU, I would be saving about $58,537. But I do understand that the Business Degree from UBC has a better reputation and name recognition.

So I was wondering if someone could tell me if getting a degree at UBC is worth the extra 60k. Canadian Residents pay a fraction of what I would have to pay. This really makes me wonder whether a UBC degree is really worth the price tag.

Thank you all for your help!

Is there anyone that can help me with my question?

UBC has a good reputation, but that is a lot of money to spend.

If you don't understand why Canadian pay less, it's because it's a Public school. Since you don't pay taxes to the Canadian government, you have to make up for it.
