Possible to change GPA on Cal Grant?

I just created an account on webgrants4students.org to see if I am eligible for any Cal Grants. I noticed that my GPA sent to the Cal Grant Program is incorrect. It says 2.76 when it is really 3.76. Any way to change this? Should I talk to my college counselor? Thanks in advance.

I would call the California Student Aid Commission immediately. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I called and they are closed (8 to noon). I’ll call them tomorrow about the problem. I think I am also going to talk to my college counselor and verify with her my GPA. At the time I filled out the GPA Verification Form I had above a 3.0 GPA.

If you feel your GPA was not correctly calculated, you must have a correction filed by the school that
submitted the GPA.

I talked to my college counselor. She couldn’t get a hold of the California Student Aid Commission so she sent another GPA Verification form.

Thats cool that your school sent another. Its important that the Student Aid Commission knows this though. Your school will need to talk to the Commission by phone or letter included with your newest GPA varification explaining the circumstances for why a GPA sent after the deadline should be excepted. If its already been mailed without a letter, the Commission has a School Support Group your school needs to call to work this out. Your school will not call Student Support, instead will call School Support.
