Possible to get out of CC after 1 semester?

<p>I currently attend Santa Monica College and it's my first semester there. I thought it would be a great idea since I didn't do so well in high school (at Oaks Christian), but knew I was capable of doing well at a respectable university if I just applied myself. I also knew attending SMC would save money and honestly I knew I wasn't ready to leave home. The problem is that I all of the sudden I really want to get out of the house and experience the true college life now that I have seen a lot of my friends living it. I was wondering if there's anyway I could apply to any school for the second semester. I want to major in business and would like the school to have a solid program for it. Can anyone who knows anything about which schools take second semester applicants to please give me some information? Thank you in advance.</p>

<p>If you’re trying to stay in California and interested in a UC or a CSU then since you already started CC it’s not possible. Now if you’re interested in USC or some other private college like that then you can apply. You’ll just have to search for colleges that take in freshmen, some have a certain amount of hours like 15 credit hours that you have to do in order to apply so look out for that too.</p>
