Is UCI the only one that requires it?

I want to transfer to UC Berkeley for Industrial Engineering and was wondering how impacted that major is. I know that ucb engineering is extremely competitive, but do the less popular engineering majors like IE accept students with lower gpas. Does the college of engineering make decisions as a whole or does each major accept students seperately. I have around a 3.75. Please help me!!! I’ll try my best to help you haha thankkksss!

I’m trying to transfer to UCD for Chemistry. As you may know Chem requires quite a bit of courses, I was unsure of my major the first year at CC, and messed up on my classes and am on my second this coming fall. I calculated my units that I will have if I take all the required classes and GE’s and came up with about 97 units. Is that normal? I would only be staying 3 years. Does it matter if I’m over by that many units? because it’s not my fault they require so many courses! Please help! tia

Dreamss - That’s fine. There’s no unit cap if all of your units come from a community college. I’ll be applying with about 95 units of CC coursework to UCSB econ.
