Post Your Winter 2009 Schedule!

hows this schedule:
Civil Engineering 108, CS 31 (Rohr), Math 33B and Classics 51B?

How is this schedule?

Chem 14B (H possibly)
Chem 14BL
Hnrs Coll 11W
Math 32B
Physics 6A

+2 FLs, for fun!

My counselor(s) told me not to take LS2 with the chem labs, but I'm afraid this will totally screw me for next year, since I won't finish pre-reqs until the end/middle of 2nd year. Is it possible to do LS2 with a chem lab?

Uh. No. Don't do that. Listen to your counselors.

And I've heard of seniors doing 14CL, so don't stress out about your chem labs. So don't take them with an LS2 unless an easy GE is the third class.

No to chem lab and writing two class in at the same time. Strike out the lab and it's still a damn hard schedule.

I'll be taking:

Chem 14b
LS 1
GE (I'm dropping my cluster!)

Does anyone know if the the GE Seminars are any good? I'm considering World Arts 98T, Psych 98T and Asian American 10. Thanks for any input.

ge seminars aren't required, btw..

Chem 14B
Chem 14BL
Hnrs Coll 11W
Math 32B
Physics 6A

WHY? It's really unnecessary to take FLs unless you really need the units for ELC or out of sheer interest. It makes no sense to take them with all of that ~~

I would knock out HC 11W -- and deprioritize W for now... if you want to focus on math/sci. esp since youre a first year

:) sheer interest.

And I wanted to take LS 2, but was told not to overload myself with math/sci classes, so I figured, "why not start knocking out GEs?"

anybody know the difficulty of these classes?

cs 143 (database systems)
cs 161 (artificial intelligence)
cs 174A (computer graphics)

I'm looking for easy GE classes. I heard that history of Asian Americans was fairly easy, but has any one taken ethnomusicology? Any suggestions for an easy GE class? Thanks!

cs143: planning on taking 143 with cho (don't know about next quarter's prof..)

CCers, how does this look for winter 09?

chem14a
math3b
stats10

is it okay that way or should i add another GE?

What should i enroll in for 1st pass?

1) Writing II: Philopsophy 22W (but this can be switched with 4 other writing II courses as a last resort)
2) Stats 10

which fills up quicker? i want a decent time for stats 10 (lots of the lectures are at 8am so i wouldn't go..) but i'm afraid i wont get into a writing ii this quarter.

Jeyday: that looks doable =D
im doing almost the same except instead of stats im doing physics. and am gunna have a GE too =] i think it will be fine to have the GE as long as you have either an interesting GE that you like or an easy GE

son of a *****!! my honors collegium course filled up. damned lotteries. So is it pretty much impossible for a student with below junior status to get into an honors collegium seminar class?

How does this look?

Math 3B
Chem 20B
Chem 20L
Korea 50

Should I drop 20L and take LS1 or LS2 instead? And also, how common is it for someone to be taking the physical science track for chem and the life science track for math?

umm just stick to 20L i would say, i don't know how hard korea 50 would be for you but 4 classes seems to be the nightmare for life science students... as for physical sciense track for chem and life sci for math isn't that uncommon since there are a lot of biochem students that have to take the general 20 series...

i wanted to take psych 85, but even though i'm a senior and it's a lower-div, i don't meet the requirements. sooooo since it's filling up fast... boo!

-psych 120B
-PIC 10A
-psych 135
-near eastern languages 50B
-(no symphonic band cuz NEL conflicts... boooo!)

prepsychology-

stat 13
psych 10
physics 10
anthro 7

17 units, but none of them are that hard from what i've read.

for stat 13 there's two sections that would work for me - one with 13/32 spots filled, one with 24/32. do i have a chance at getting them?

and after i sign up for stat 13, i don't know what other class to register for during my 1st pass.
there's plenty of sections for anthro 7, so i'm not worried about that. for psych 10, there's an 8am lecture with 52/300, and a 2pm lecture with 134/300 - i'd want the 2pm, but i'm sure everyone else does also.
and then there's physics 10, which has 51/117 people, and i don't care which discussion i'm in.

(psych 10 is introductory psychology, physics 10 is really easy physics for north campus people)

so...which one should i choose for my 1st pass? opinions por favor?

psych 10. because it's a good prof at a good time (2pm). and if it costs you one of your other pre-psych classes, well, they're offered every (or nearly every) quarter anyway. but you should get all your classes.

anthro 33/ anthroM186/ Ethno 111
