<p>Hi! I had a few questions about the classes I'm planning to take this fall quarter. </p>
<ol>
<li>Why is it recommended NOT to take CHEM14A first lecture at 10AM? </li>
<li>For Math 3A, there's only SONG or Towsner. Would it be better to stick with Song or take my chances with Towsner (new teacher)</li>
<li>What exactly is arts and architecture 10?</li>
</ol>
<p>I'm an incoming freshmen, declaring pre-psychobio, with session 101 so I'm hoping to sign up for MATH3A, CHEM 14A, and A&A10. I just wanted to sign up with the right professors..</p>

<p>CHEM 14A - Lavelle (MWF) @ 10:00AM-10:50AM
MATH 3A - Townser (MWF) @ 2:00-2PM
A&A10 - Winter (MW) @ 11AM-12:50PM</p>
<p>Discussions on Tuesday and Friday. Leaving Thursday free. </p>

<p>Choose Fall 2009 as your term and select the subject area. “Get classes” and there you go!</p>

<p>Whatever you do, don’t take Song. I had him for 31A and he’s terrible. He has an accent that is impossible to understand and is a dick. He told us to memorize proofs for midterms and then never put the actual proofs on it, and instead put really hard questions or ones based on concepts we did not go over in lecture or discussion. Definitely one of the worst professors I’ve had at UCLA.</p>
